EXPERIENCE

Jim has been buying and selling real estate since 1973, building and remodeling homes and commercial property in the Lake Tahoe and Northern Nevada areas. He and his wife Carol, spent their honeymoon 30 years ago, in the San Juan area and have vacationed in the area over the years. In 1991, he and his family moved to Lopez Island. Jim built a home, and then started selling real estate on a full time basis. With his partner, he has built several spec homes on Lopez and Whidbey Islands.

PERSONAL

Jim graduated from Granada Hills High School (Los Angeles) in 1962, joined United States Navy and served in the far East aboard the USS Kearsarge. He then attended Washington State University in Pullman, Washington and graduated in 1970 with a teaching credential. Jim played football under coach Jim Sweeney, and coached the freshman team with WSU's current head coach Mike Price and the Seattle Seahawks head coach Dennis Erickson. GO COUGS! He taught Physical Education and Science in the San Fernando Valley before changing professions to run an independent insurance agency in the Tahoe area. When that sold, he bought 40 acres, bult a house and raised four daughters as well as Texas Longhorn cattle. (Don't ask him which are easier to raise).

JIM WANTS YOU TO KNOW...

That he loves Lopez Island and selling real estate. That Lopez Island is a unique place with one of the most beautiful settings to be found anywhere. If you are looking for a quiet, slow pace, or a place to get away from 'it all', then this island may be for you. Jim has worked with buyers and sellers of properties ranging from waterfront land, to waterfront homes, to lots, and acreages. He will work hard to find you the piece of property that fits your needs.
