Laurie Naylor Sales Associate

Laurie has lived in the Pacific Northwest for 40 years and continues to be amazed by the area's natural beauty -- the mountains, rivers, lakes, and the sound. She tells it was not "the soar of an eagle" but the "water and pastoral views" and "sense of community" that drew her to Lopez Island. Like so many who have come to love Lopez, Laurie feels living on the island is like a dream come true.

Laurie recognized the benefits of owning real estate early on, and purchased her first investment property at the age of 22. Laurie initially satisfied all requirements and obtained a real estate license in the State of Washington in 1984, however, continued her accounting focus as an Office Manager for a metal company in Seattle. To become reacquainted with the latest in the real estate industry before coming to the island and establishing a real estate career, Laurie reactivated her real estate license in January 2005 working for an independent real estate broker in the heart of Kirkland, Washington. Laurie is excited about the recent transfer from Island House Realtors to Windermere Lopez Island.

Laurie graduated from Washington State University, magna cum laude, with a general business degree. Her education and background provide a basis for sound marketing skills, fastidious attention to detail in real estate transactions, and math proficiency to determine just how the buying or selling of your home makes good economic sense. Perhaps equally important, Laurie's love of the island will likely be contagious.
